Jamel set a new Alouettes’ record with 16 receiving touchdowns in a season… He led the CFL in touchdowns, finished fourth in the CFL and led the Alouettes in receiving yards and was fourth in the CFL and second on the Alouettes in receptions. Named CFL All-Star, East Division All-Star and CFLPA All-Star.

Jamel attended training camp with the Dallas Cowboys.

Jamel missed the last 14 games of the season with an ankle injury.
2005: Saskatchewan Roughriders
Started 14 games at wide receiver…also started in Eastern Semi-Final…had five catches for 69 yards in Week 6…had career high eight catches for 152 yards in Week 7…had four catches for 68 yards in Week 15…had six catches for 49 yards and a touchdown in Week Eastern Semi-Final.
2004: Saskatchewan Roughriders
Started six games at wide receiver...missed remainder of season due to injury...had six catches for 46 yards in Week 1...had three catches for 65 yards and a touchdown in Week 3...left game in first half of Week 4 with an ankle injury...finished season with 20 catches for 210 yards and a touchdown.
2003: Saskatchewan Roughriders
Started six games at wide receiver...also started Western Semi-Final and Western Final...made CFL and Rider debut in Week 9...had two catches for 24 yards in Week 9...made first CFL catch in Week 9 against Ottawa...had four receptions for 68 yards in Week 12...had team high seven receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown in Week 13...had first career CFL touchdown in Week 13...had one catch for 25 yards in Western Final.

Spent two seasons at Victor Valley Community College in California...led team in receiving in senior season with 53 catches for 1,036 yards and seven touchdown in only eight games played...also had 186 kickoff return yards and 27 rushing yards.
Jamal spent this past off-season working out in Atlanta...plays basketball and flag football and enjoys music, video games, and watching movies.
